Remarketing can be very effective, but it can take some time to perfect. When a visitor browses your products but then leaves without making a purchase, you can retarget them elsewhere, perhaps showing them related products or the same item they viewed at a cheaper price.
Remarketing can also be achieved via email, where you can see who added items to a basket and did not pay for them. Then a subtle reminder email saying that there are unpaid items in their basket can nudge the individual to make a purchase. A display network is incorporated into thousands of websites, meaning adverts can be placed on sites that actually relate to the ad, so it’s becoming more relevant, whilst you already those potential customers are interested because they’ve visited your website in the past.
